Seemanchal Technical Society is an initiative of India’s aspiring youth and this is a non-profit organization. It gives the youth a platform to showcase their Technical, Cultural & Literary talents. A plethora of events ranging from technical, cultural to holding accredited workshops, social awareness and research papers and planed to organize annually in this knowledge building initiative.
Seemanchal Technical Society was founded on March 1, 2016 by a Team of IITians, NITians, Technical Students from different engineering colleges of india and Professional Students too, who belong to seemanchal region (kishanganj, Purnea, Araria, Katihar, Uttar Dinajpur and siliguri) with a strong passion to change society today and build a better India for tomorrow. The organization provides youngsters a platform to serve the society and bridges the gap between the educated and the uneducated. Our volunteers educate and mentor children from orphanages, slums and villages community centre across the country to give them a better future, which will benefit them as well as our country. The learning experience is mutual – our volunteers gain perspective and the experience to mould themselves into tomorrow’s leaders.
We offer what already has been offered, the difference is that this time it is going to be more effective , more grounded. We wish to hit the stone at grass root scale and raise the technical inquisitiveness in the youth.
We are registered under societies registration act XXI, 1860 and every initiative we foster is pruned following all legal directions.
Our team, is of qualified professionals who are multidimensional, and in addition to that we believe in being proactive , empathize with needy and strive continuously towards self development which shall lead to development of our location.
We at Seemanchal Technical Society are a team of professionals with varied skills and experience in fields of Management, Economics, Agriculture, Social Work, and Information Technology. The team is an eclectic mix of young and seasoned professionals with a wide array of functional expertise and domain exposures. The team members are engaged in conducting direct field implementation and supporting local level institutions, carrying assignments related with evaluation and studies, providing training and hand-holding support to NGO staff and stakeholders.
